The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Matrusri Engineering College (MECS) is established in the year 2011-12 with an intake of 60 students. The department is accredited by NBA in the year 2019. The department is enriched with richly experienced and highly qualified faculty in various specializations. All the labs are equipped with state of art equipment which is helping the teacher fraternity to help in modern teaching learning processes. The department has enrolled MOU’s with various electrical industry units and has a “Center of Excellence for Electric Vehicles” in association with SkillShark Edutech Pvt. Ltd., serving as a technology link for training, skill development and research.  The student chapters in IEI, IEEE, ISTE are highly proactive in the department.
