Simulated Learning Environment for Laboratory Experiments

Preamble

Engineering education is incomplete without hands on learning of real systems. Virtual Labs is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development under the National Mission on Education through ICT to enable the students to carry out laboratory experiments without physically visiting lab premises. Matrusri Engineering College has been designated as Nodal Centre for Virtual Labs by IIIT Hyderabad in December 2018.Laboratory equipment in college has a computer interface for control and data storage. The interactive multimedia objects used in virtual laboratory consists of web-resources, video-lectures, graphics, text, hypertext, sound, images, and animations.

Objectives

  • To provide remote-access to labs in various disciplines of Science and
  • To help them in learning basic and advanced concepts through remote experimentation and perform experiments enthusiastically which enhances the confidence levels of the students to implement the task using.
