Program Outcomes (PO’s)

Upon completion of the program, the student will be able

PO1 Engineering knowledge: To understand and apply the knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to solve the engineering problems.

PO2 Problem analysis: To identify, formulate and analyze the complex problems in mechanical and interdisciplinary streams.

PO3 Design/development of solutions: To design and develop the components/system or a process for deriving the solutions to meet the specific needs.

PO4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: To investigate and obtain solutions to complex problems by adapting experimental and computational techniques.

PO5 Modern tool usage: To familiarize with usage of modern methods like simulation, statistical and IT tools for modeling of engineering problems.

PO6 The engineer and society: To assess the health, safety, legal and cultural issues and be an important and responsible contributor to the society.

PO7 Environment and sustainability: To recognize the long term effects of solutions on environment and sustainability of mankind.

PO8 Ethics: To understand and apply the principles of professional and business ethics in their day to day life.
