In the view of Covid-19 pandemic the management of Matrusri Education Society have sponsored to organize vaccination programme for college staff members in order to keep them protected from corona virus.
Covid-19 Vaccination programme was organized for the staff members of Matrusri Engineering College & M.V.S.R Engineering college on 19.06.2021. Around 200 staff members were given Covaxin & Covishield as vaccine 1st & 2nd doses as per their vaccination schedule. Later on they were asked to follow the suggestions as per doctor’s advice.
Dr. K.P Srinivas Rao, Hon’ble Chairman, Matrusri Education Society, Sri M. Krishna Kumar garu, Secretary, Matrusri Education Society Dr. D. Hanumantha Rao, Principal, MECS & Dr. G. Kanaka Durga, Principal, M.V.S.R Engineering college have given their full support to the vaccination programme in every which way.
Also a special vaccination drive for staff members by National Service Scheme Unit was organized from 16.06.2021 to 19.06.2021 at near Urban Public Health Centre. Around 65 staff members have taken their 1st dose Covaxin vaccination. Dr. M. Yuvaraju Program Officer N.S.S , Mr K.V.S Harish Asst. Physical Director coordinated the campaign.
