Facilities

MECS is equipped with both indoor and outdoor facilities for all the students and staff of the college. Students are allowed to utilize the sports infrastructure beyond academic hours. Faculty of Physical Education is available to students in the extended hours every working day.

The campus provides spacious indoor sports auditorium facilities for the multiple indoor games.

Activities

Students are encouraged to take part in sports activities by a structured way. Students are encouraged to take part in Annual sports meet across various disciplines from where merit sports students are identified to take part in Inter college tournaments. The following are the activities held by the Physical Education department.

• Annual Sports Meet: Organizing Annual Sports Meet across all departments so that each and every student of the campus gets opportunity to take part in sports and games competitions. Winners and runners of the competitions are awarded prize on the occasion of Annual Day celebrations. Annual sports competitions are also organized for the faculty.
• Inter College Tournament: Identifying the merit students and make them participate in Inter College Tournament organized by O.U and other institutions in and around the city.
• Inter University Tournaments: Students are encouraged to participate in the Inter University tournaments representing Osmania University.
