The Audio-Visual (AV) Centre plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning process at MEC. The Centre includes English Laboratory, which is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including networked computers, licensed language learning software, high-quality headsets with microphones, audio-visual systems and internet connectivity. The facility supports learner-centric and technology-enabled instruction focusing on Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW) skills. These tools help students practice pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and functional English. Students can also improve their accent, fluency and comprehension skills in such a conducive environment. The lab conducts activities such as JAM sessions, Role Plays, Group Discussions, Presentations, Picture Perception and Interview Skills which play a significant role in building students’ confidence and preparing them for campus placements, higher studies and professional careers.
