The Sciences and Humanities Department imparts education integrating the application of Basic Sciences and Humanities for Engineering
Courses in the streams of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. The Head of the Department is Prof Dr.T.Shekharam, M.Sc from JNTUH and
Ph.D from Osmania University and has 24 years of teaching experience.He has 13 publications in various national and international journals to
his credit and attended 12 National and International conferences and presented papers.
There are 18 well experienced faculty members
in the department,3 Doctorates in Mathematics, 1 Doctorate in Physics and almost all the other faculty members are pursuing Ph.D in various Universities.
The faculty plays a significant role in moulding and integrating human values and social concerns. The Teaching and Non-Teaching faculty closely monitor
the holistic development of first year students, encourage and motivate them at the initial stages of opting the professional Course.
